Before I became a translator, I had taught both English and Polish at state and private schools. My passion for language was the decisive factor in taking up translation and interpreting and thanks to my educational background I am able to professionally facilitate communication between two parties that do not speak the same language.

Why me? I can offer an in-depth, insightful and analytical translation into the target language making sure nothing is lost, and there are a number of issues such as cultural differences, individual input, discourse analysis or syntactic incompatibility between languages that should be tackled. Language universals and the complexity of differences between languages are best explained by, among others, N. Chomsky (Syntactic Structures), S. Pinker, H. Borer (eXoSkeletal Model) or D. Adger (Core Syntax). Given that professional translation should involve a broad range of linguistic skills, I feel privileged that I am able to demonstrate awareness of avariety of syntactic, lexical, semantic, discourse or lexical concepts and that I can apply them in my translations.
